I’m Chels, the girl behind Hayes Girl Highlands. This little farm outside Ballarat is where, with a little help, I raise calm, healthy Highland cattle with time, care, and plenty of paddock space. These days, it’s all about doing things properly — calm cattle, good land, and a farm that reflects the work that goes into it.

Atlas is a 2 year old Highland Steer. He is a beautiful red brindle colour. He loves some extra treats and some hay. He will push past everyone else to come sniff your hand first.
